A jury will review the materials and will select the participants. \n\n\n\nDeadline for submission is February 24 at 12 pm.  \n\n\n\nAll applicants will be notified on February 28 and payment will be required at that time. Please note, the lecture is open to the public for registration and we encourage everyone to attend this!\n\n\n\nWorkshop Details:\n\n\n\nDay 1: Lecture. This day is divided into four parts, the first part of this course the participants learn how to prep and shoot drama. Concepts such as master shots and coverage and the axis and the eyeline are explored. In the second part, the class deconstructs a scene from a major film in order to see how the director and editor translated the scene as scripted into the finished scene. In the third part, a number of camera-related topics are discussed including lighting and lenses. In the fourth part, visual design is examined. A range of visual design options are viewed and deconstructed with the aid of a clip reel.\n\n\n\nAt the end of day one, each participant is assigned a scene, which they will prep for and shoot with a Director of Photography.\n
