DESCRIPTION:\nAbout the workshop:\n\n\n\nGiven the film industry’s highly technical and fast-paced nature, individuals can often be promoted or advance in positions with little or no training on how to lead, manage and supervise. This can provide significant challenges. This course will provide in-depth leadership, management and supervision skills development for the participants and includes in-depth examples and best practices, three case studies and an open book test.\n\n\n\nAttracting and retaining workers in Manitoba’s film industry is critical to the health and growth of the industry. There is no doubt that the more effective leaders, managers and supervisors can be, the more successful the industry’s workers will be in their work output.
