DESCRIPTION:\nMarch 26 & 27, 2024 at 5 PM to 9 PM\n\n\n\nLocation: 204-245 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, MB\n\n\n\nRegistration Fee:\n\n\n\nFor DGC Members: $25.00 (Refundable) ** DGC Members must attended to receive a refund\n\n\n\nFor DGC permits and members of the general public: $50.00\n\n\n\nRegister ( https://filmtraining.mb.ca/pay-for-courses-online/ )\n\n\n\nAbout the course:\n\n\n\nDuring these individual scheduled 40-minute one-on-one coaching sessions, the participants and instructor will have an in-depth discussion on how to improve the participant’s skills within jobs and careers in the film industry.\n\n\n\nWhether the participant would like advice on how to excel in a career, or guidance on taking the next steps, these one-on-one sessions will help the participant identify potential opportunities within the film industry.\n\n\n\nAbout the Instructor:\n\n\n\nEllen Rutter is a film industry veteran, and a long-standing leader and manager. Ellen is a member of the Director Guild of Canada’s Manitoba District Council and has served in a wide collection of film industry positions including as a production manager, line producer, and producer.\n\n\n\nEllen was the first recipient of the Canada’s Supporting Women in Film Trades (SWIFT) Award for her years of service championing women and other underrepresented workers.\n\n\n\nEllen has instructed and developed a wide collection of FTM programs and regularly serves as an FTM mentor to upgrade the skills of Manitoba’s film industry professionals.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy\n\n\n\nParticipants must cancel up to 4 full business days prior to the course start date to receive an 80% refund. No refund will be given to participants who cancel within 4 full business days before the course start date, or if they do not attend the course.\n\n\n\nFilm Training Manitoba reserves the right to cancel, or postpone, any course where a minimum registration level has not been met. Participants registered for a course that is canceled will receive a full refund.\n
