DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nDate: September 20, 2025 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)Location: Farpoint Films Office (201-1440 Jack Blick Avenue)Fee: $50.00\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here ( https://filmtraining.mb.ca/pay-for-courses-online/ )\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Workshop:\n\n\n\nWith the rapid growth of the media production and film industry in Manitoba, more industry professionals are seeking to expand their knowledge of the post-production process.\n\n\n\nThis one-day course will help learners gain a deeper understanding of the workflow of post from beginning to end, with a special focus on the roles of the supervisor and assistant editor.\n\n\n\nTopics covered will include:– Stages of post-production and the workflow– The role of the post-production supervisor– The role of the assistant editor\n\n\n\nAbout the Instructor:\n\n\n\nNathalie Massaroni is a Winnipeg-based editor and post-production supervisor of more than 400 hours of television.\n\n\n\nShe has edited features and series including Wintertide, Alter Boys, Seeking Fire, and Aberdeen (which premiered at TIFF 2024). Nathalie has also edited other short form award-winning series and films such as Tailor Made, D Dot H, Clem, and I Hurt Myself. She was recently part of the Canadian Academy’s Women in Post Program and is on the board for the CCE as the Regional Chair for Western Canada.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy\n\n\n\nParticipants must cancel up to 4 full business days prior to the course start date to receive an 80% refund. No refund will be given to participants who cancel within 4 full business days before the course start date, or if they do not attend the course.\n\n\n\nFilm Training Manitoba reserves the right to cancel, or postpone, any course where a minimum registration level has not been met. Participants registered for a course that is canceled will receive a full refund.\n
