This year, the workshop will consist of the 8K Red Raptor V and the Sony FX3. \n\n\n\nThis unique training initiative for media production professionals that are looking to develop their skills with hands-on training in new technologies and visual modes of creative expression.\n\n\n\nParticipants of this course will receive a combination of hands-on learning, mock shooting, camera workflow, lectures and demonstrations on the leading-edge technologies in image-making. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited, so make sure you register right away! \n\n\n\nDay 1: Camera set-ups, tests and mock shooting (In partnership with FRANK Digital) 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM\n\n\n\nOn the first day of this course, the instructor will lead participants through a series of camera setups and mock shoots in a commercial style. The instructor will lead a hands-on shooting scenario using multiple cameras, lenses, dollies and gimbals.\n\n\n\nEach participant will have the opportunity to operate a cinema camera, use a gimbal, pull focus and later review the footage with an editor.\n\n\n\nDay 2: Post-production (In partnership with Frank Digital) – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM\n\n\n\nOn day two of the course, a post-production supervisor will allow participants to see the footage shot firsthand, and the instructor will review flat lighting versus shaped lighting and how to colour correct and match two cameras. \n\n\n\nFollowing this course, participants will understand current industry trends with productions and have a good working recognition of potential future platforms.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation PolicyParticipants must cancel up to 4 full business days prior to the course start date to receive an 80% refund. No refund will be given to participants who cancel within 4 full business days before the course start date, or if they do not attend the course.\n\n\n\nFilm Training Manitoba reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course where a minimum registration level has not been met.
