FTM’s Leadership, Management, and Supervision in Film Course with Ellen Rutter and Reil Munro
About the workshop:
Given the film industry’s highly technical and fast-paced nature, individuals can often be promoted or advance in positions with little or no training on how to lead, manage and supervise. This can provide significant challenges. This course will provide in-depth leadership, management and supervision skills development for the participants and includes in-depth examples and best practices, three case studies and an open book test.
Attracting and retaining workers in Manitoba’s film industry is critical to the health and growth of the industry. There is no doubt that the more effective leaders, managers and supervisors can be, the more successful the industry’s workers will be in their work output. FTM has developed this course specifically to help the participants put their best foot forward and to contribute to a more positive film workplace culture.
