During this one-day training course FTM SWIFT instructor Natasha Tony will teach the participants how they can develop and execute strategies on career advancement within Manitoba’s film industry.

In a positive and supportive class dynamic, the instructor will engage with the participants and discuss overcoming workplace related challenges and how to move your career forward in a professional and focused manner.

• Underlining barriers and challenges women face
• How-to covert challenges within jobs and careers to opportunities
• Approach and target jobs and promotions within the film industry
• How to overcome invisible barriers and advocate for yourself through self-promotion (Specific tips for the film industry).
• How to overcome effective motivation and coping strategies when confronting challenges and problems within production
• Assertiveness within the film industry: How to communicate with other crew and film personnel, how to work with allies and instilling confidence based on ability.
