Workshop – The Director and the Camera with John Paizs (In partnership with the WFG)

Applicants are required to provide a letter expressing their interest in attending and relevant film and media experience (e.g. production experience, training and/or education) to a maximum of 500 words. A jury will review the materials and will select the participants. 

Deadline for submission is February 24 at 12 pm.  

All applicants will be notified on February 28 and payment will be required at that time. Please note, the lecture is open to the public for registration and we encourage everyone to attend this!

Workshop Details:

Day 2: Shoot. Each workshop participant arrives with his or her shot-list ready to go, having incorporated the lessons learned on Day One into their game plan. They have ONE HOUR to shoot their scene. Once shot, the footage (and shot-list and the director’s preferred takes, etc.) goes to the editor for a rough assembly.

Please note: No footage will be given to the participants after the lab
