Sydney Sabiston, our long-serving Training and Partnerships Manager, has taken a new position with the Manitoba production company, Farpoint Films.
“Sydney‘s film industry experience and dedication made her a valued member of our team. Everyone at FTM is excited about her future at Farpoint Films and all the great projects they are creating.” Said FTM’s Executive Director Adam Smoluk.
During Sydney’s time at FTM, she managed an excellent collection of new partnerships and moderated outstanding sessions at the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce’s CODE conference, REEL Pride Film Festival, Gimli Film International Film Festival, and Comic Con.
FTM is a non-for-profit charity and member of the Province of Manitoba’s Sector Council program funded through the Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources. FTM builds a highly skilled and adaptable film industry workforce to support the activities of Manitoba production companies. FTM collaborates and partners with members of the film industry to identify training needs to support workforce development.
