Film Training Manitoba (FTM) is set to share the full details of a ground-breaking new partnership during the upcoming Gimli International Festival (GIFF) which is taking place July 24 to July 28, 2024.
FTM is conducting a Supporting Women in Film Trades (SWIFT) panel training session on July 28 at 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Johnston Hall where the announcement will be made following the panel session.
“FTM has a long track record of cutting-edge workforce development programs to build and grow Manitoba’s film industry.” Said FTM’s Executive Director Adam Smoluk. “We’re immensely honoured to share the full announcement of our new partnership at this year’s Gimli Film International Film Festival.”
FTM is a member of the Province of Manitoba’s sector council program funded through the Department of Economic Development and Training. FTM builds a highly skilled and adaptable film industry workforce to support the activities of Manitoba production companies. FTM collaborates and partners with members of the film and television industry to identify training needs to support workforce development output.
