Elizabeth Klinck’s Research Rights and Clearances workshop “You See It, You Hear It, Let’s Clear It” will delve into the world of archival image research.
Participants will become familiar with concepts such as “fair dealing” and “orphan works”, and will discover ways to reduce costs and limit risks when including images, footage, and music in media projects.
The workshop combines theory and practice and is suited for filmmakers, archivists, archival researchers, directors and producers. Handouts and a follow up online consultation will be offered in addition to a 50 minute session that will include a 10 min Q&A.
