Film Training Manitoba (FTM) wishes to extend our congratulations to award-winning CEO and executive producer Jamie Brown and his appointment to the Order of Manitoba. As the founding CEO of Frantic Films, Jamie has led the company to over 165 awards and counting. Frantic Films has a well-deserved reputation for creating outstanding programming for a global audience. In addition to its success in Canada and the U.S., Frantic’s award-winning TV series, features and documentaries have sold to over 150 countries worldwide. Jamie is a former FTM instructor and a subject of FTM’s REEL Careers profile.

The province announced on May 12, 2023 – Manitoba Day – that this year’s appointees with be inducted to the Order at a formal ceremony led by Lt. Governor Anita Neville on July 20, 2023, at the Manitoba legislature. The Order, first established over two decades ago in 1999, recognizes the efforts of those who have enriched the social, cultural or economic well-being of the province and its residents.
“It is both gratifying and humbling to reflect on the exceptional accomplishments of the 12 outstanding men and women being invested into the Order of Manitoba this year,” Neville said in a statement.
